FoxChat Meeting Introduction

FoxChat Meetings support both instant meetings and scheduled meetings, offering audio / video modes with clear role-based permissions and diverse interactive features to meet various online communication needs.

1. Core Features

1.1 Meeting Creation Modes

  • Instant Meeting: Launch with one click; participants can join immediately, suitable for ad-hoc communication and quick alignment.
  • Scheduled Meeting: Organizers preset meeting times; participants can reserve meetings, with automatic reminders at the scheduled time, ideal for events, training, and regular meetings.

1.2 Dual Meeting Mode Support

  • Audio Meeting: Supports multi-person voice chat with meeting bullet comments, providing lightweight interaction that runs smoothly even on low bandwidth.
  • Video Meeting (Coming Soon): Supports multi-person real-time audio / video connection, screen sharing, and presentations, paired with a multifunctional chat room to meet in-depth interaction needs.

1.3 Interactive Features (Continuously Updated)

  • Screen Sharing: Hosts, co-hosts, and speakers can share screens with one click, suitable for solution explanations, project demonstrations, and product roadshows.
  • Bullet Comments: All participant roles can send bullet comments for real-time interaction without disrupting the meeting flow.
  • Advanced Chat Room: Supports sending text messages, emojis, images, videos, and other content to meet diverse communication needs.

2. Role Permissions

2.1 Role Descriptions

  • Host (Meeting Creator): Highest management authority; can set meeting information, assign roles, manage order, and end meetings.
  • Co-host (Management Collaborator): Assists in managing meetings; can set speakers, manage participant microphone / video permissions, and remove listeners.
  • Speaker (Speaking Guest): Can speak via audio / video and supports screen sharing; has no member management permissions.
  • Listener (Regular User): Can send bullet comments, participate in the chat room, and apply to become a speaker.

2.2 Role and Permission Table

3. Quick Operation Steps

3.1 Starting a Meeting (Host)

  1. Enter the meeting page and select Create Quick Meeting or Schedule Meeting.
  2. Quick Meeting: Can start immediately after creation.
  3. Scheduled Meeting: Set a start time; users can reserve the meeting after setup is complete.
  4. After the meeting starts, manually add co-hosts or speakers in the Member Management panel.

3.2 Joining a Meeting (Participant)

  1. Join the meeting through a shared link, QR code, or meeting card.
  2. Participants enter as a listener by default and can choose to enable / disable bullet comment display, participate in chat room interactions, or proactively apply to speak.

3.3 Core Function Operations

  • Screen Sharing (Coming Soon)

    • Host / co-host / speaker: Click the Screen Share button in the meeting toolbar to share their mobile screen.
  • Sending Bullet Comments

    • All participant roles: Enter content in the bullet comment input box at the bottom of the meeting and click Send.
  • Chat Room Interaction (Coming Soon)

    • Click the meeting chat room entry to input text and upload images / videos for more diverse messaging.
  • Apply to Speak

    • Listeners: Click the Apply to Speak button in the meeting interface and wait for approval from the host / co-host.
    • After approval, the role automatically switches to Speaker, and they can speak by turning on the microphone.

4. Permission Management (Host / Co-host Only)

4.1 Manage Audio / Video

  • Select the target user and click the Mute / Turn Off Microphone button to control the user's microphone status with one click.

4.2 Adjust Roles

  • In the Member Management / Participant List, click on a user and select Set as Co-host or Set as Speaker.

4.3 Remove User

  • Select a disruptive or irrelevant user and click the Remove from Meeting button to eject them from the meeting room.
