Privacy Policy

The FoxChat Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) is a statement issued by FoxChat (hereinafter referred to as the “App”) to explain how user information is collected, used, stored, protected, and otherwise processed in connection with the use of FoxChat-related services.

Please read this Policy carefully before using the App. Once you register, log in, access, or use the App, you shall be deemed to have fully understood and agreed to accept all contents of this Policy.

Important Statement

FoxChat does not retain any user information: FoxChat does not store any of the user’s social information, account information, or similar data. Please make sure to properly keep your registered email account and password and manage your account securely. Once lost, such information cannot be recovered.

DApp Interaction Risks: FoxChat provides users with DApp access functionality. The DApp ecosystem displayed within the interface has been audited and is safe and available for use. However, if a user independently enters and interacts with a third-party DApp address, the user should carefully verify the security and validity of such address. Any risks arising from force majeure affecting the project, phishing links, asset loss, or similar circumstances shall be deemed the result of the user’s own actions, and the user shall bear such risks independently.

Limitation of Liability and Policy Updates: FoxChat is a social interaction tool and does not directly participate in any asset custody, trade matching, or operation of third-party projects. FoxChat may update this legal information from time to time in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, technological developments, or service adjustments. Where this Policy undergoes a material change, FoxChat will publish an update notice in a prominent location on the official website or within the App. Continued use of the App shall be deemed as the user having read and agreed to the updated terms.

1. Information FoxChat May Collect

In the course of a user’s use of FoxChat, FoxChat may collect the following information in order to provide basic functions and improve service quality:

① Account Information

Basic social information such as username, avatar, nickname, and personal profile information, which will be displayed on the FoxChat front end when the user uploads such materials.

② Communication Information

Text, images, audio, video, and file content sent and received by the user through FoxChat;

Chat records with contacts (stored only on the device side or uploaded and stored in encrypted form for message synchronization purposes).

③ Device Information

Including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (such as IMEI/IDFA/Android ID), system language, network status, and similar information.

④ Log Information

Including usage time, crash logs, page dwell time, feature usage frequency, and other data, in order to help FoxChat improve product experience and stability.

⑤ Interaction with Third-Party Services

FoxChat may collect or use blockchain node or infrastructure services provided by third parties (such as RPC node service providers) in order to enable DApp browsing, network access, node synchronization, and similar functions. In this process, FoxChat does not store the user’s on-chain operation content, transaction instructions, or asset data. When users interact with third-party DApps, protocols, or smart contracts, they should independently review their security and legality. Any resulting asset or privacy risks shall be borne by the user.

2. Purposes of Use of Information

FoxChat collects such information for the following purposes:

• To enable account registration, login, and security verification;
• To support core communication functions such as message sending, receiving, and contact management;
• To provide native push notification services (such as new message alerts);
• To conduct troubleshooting and performance optimization;
• To improve service stability and communication security, such as identifying abnormal login behavior, anti-fraud, and prevention of abuse;
• To comply with legal and regulatory requirements and assist administrative or judicial authorities in performing their duties.

3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

FoxChat undertakes that it will not share or sell users’ personal information for advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes; will not access, store, or back up users’ chat content; will not store, back up, or recover users’ private keys; and will not provide users’ asset data to any centralized operator.

FoxChat may only disclose limited information in the following rare and legally necessary circumstances:

• Where the user has proactively authorized or expressly consented;
• Where necessary to ensure the basic operational security of the service, such as when using decentralized nodes or network infrastructure, in which case only the minimum metadata required for network communication will be transmitted, excluding content and keys;
• Where disclosure is required by applicable laws, regulations, or formal documents issued by judicial authorities, in which case FoxChat will disclose only to the minimum extent permitted by law;
• Where necessary to protect the lawful rights and interests of users, FoxChat, or other users, and to prevent fraud, abuse, hacking, or similar security risks.

Except as stated above, FoxChat will not share user information in any form.

4. Storage and Protection of Information

• Subject to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, FoxChat will store users’ basic personal information in the cloud and on servers, and will adopt multiple security technologies for encrypted and isolated storage;
• FoxChat has established a strict data access permission control system, allowing only limited access for authorized development needs;
• Although FoxChat endeavors to protect the security of user information, please understand that no internet system can guarantee 100% security.

5. User Rights

As a user, the user has the following rights:

• To inquire about, access, and correct the user’s account information;
• To delete the user’s account and related information;
• To manage permission settings, including access to location, camera, microphone, and other permissions;
• To withdraw previously granted permissions in part (which may affect the availability of related functions);
• To obtain further explanations regarding this Privacy Policy and data processing.

6. Protection of Minors

FoxChat does not provide services to minors under the age of 18. If the user is a minor, please use the App under the supervision and guidance of a legal guardian. FoxChat will not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

FoxChat may update this Policy from time to time. Updated content will be notified to users through in-app notices, pop-up prompts, or similar means. If the user continues to use the App after the Policy has been updated, the user shall be deemed to have accepted the updated content.
